926 Guitar Players Playing At The Same Time
Have you ever wondered what nearly 1000 guitar players playing the same song together would sound like? Last week (April 23,2015), the cast of the live theatrical show “ONCE” invited people to bring their guitar to the Ed Mirvish Theatre in Toronto Canada to play a song together. The organizers hoped to attract 100 guitar players, but the crowd kept growing, with people showing up two hours early to get in line. In the end, 926 guitar players attended the event and packed the theater. The song they played is from the ONCE show and is called “Falling Slowly”. The song was led by cast members of the show and the crowd performed the song a total of three times.
